Garnet and Gold Game 2013

Mommy and Daddy have always gone to the Garnet and Gold game.  It's a fun low-key event. Daddy likes to go to see how the team is coming along and mommy like to go to people watch :)  This year we decided that it could be fun to take you ladies.  You have not really been on campus (the place where mommy and daddy met) since you were babies.  Earlier in the week we took you to the Garnet and Gold store so you could pick out an outfit to wear to the game.  You each picked out a dress (no surprise, you are obsessed with dresses).  They were not the same, but they were similar.  Grandma was going to join us.  When grandma got to the house, we had a mini photo-shoot in the front yard (big surprise).

To say you ladies were excited to go to the "Seminole House" would be a huge understatement!  We stopped for lunch first and then made our way to the campus.  We had some time before the game started so we explored.

This was a really fun afternoon.  We have decided that we will wait a few more years to take you to your first real game.  Lily you loved the cheerleaders and dancing to the band.  Emma, you loved people watching and the cheerleaders.

Springtime Tallahassee 2013

This was your 3rd Springtime Tallahassee event.  We missed last year because the weather was bad.  Daddy decided that he wanted to run the 5K this year so we had to get there really (really) early.

We got to the start line with some extra time for daddy to get his stretches in.

After his stretches daddy went over to the start line and we waited for the race to start.

This finish line for this race was at a different location so while daddy was running we had to walk over to the finish line.  It was quite the trek up and down the hills.  But we made it before daddy finished :)

Way to go daddy!  Another race under you belt.  We had a post-race refueling break and then headed back up the hills to find our seats for the parade.  You ladies have been talking about this parade for weeks now.  We are able to get a space right on the street.  We had our comfy seats and some snacks.

The parade was getting ready to start.  Lily, you did not like the loud sirens from the police cars or the fire engine.  Emma you were a dancing queen when the bands came or the floats had music.

Just A Regular Monday

Just a regular Monday (or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday) around here.  I love that you ladies love to play dress up and imaginative play so much.
