Bye Bye Bouncy Chairs

Oh bouncy chairs how wonderful you have been over the past 18 months!  You truly have been a lifesaver.  When I heard whisperings of others putting you in storage at 4-5 months, I thought " how would we survive"?  You have been there from the beginning, from the first day home until last night.  You were so good to us during those first few months, when the girls would sleep in you during the evening, and the feeding, how would we have ever managed to to the double feeding without you.  I know that we should have put you to rest months ago, but the girls loved you so much.  Morning and evening milk times, reading time and just relaxing after a long afternoon of exploring.  So now to find a suitable replacement, but know that you will be going to a good home, and you will be missed.  Here is a trip down memory lane....

You've Got Mail

The girls love love love to walk down to the mailbox when we get home.  This started a few months ago once the were completely walking.  They will walk down to the bottom of the driveway and wait for you to get the mail.  They also want to bring the mail back up the driveway, this is where we have to be careful.  We hope that there will be at least two pieces of junk mail in there.  They are thrilled to walk back into the house with "their" mail.  Recently family and friends have been sending the girls their own mail, which is really cute.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Holidays are so much more fun now that the girls are here.  They make me feel like a kid again.  I really think that kids are adorable dressed up for holidays.  Last year I started to buy (from the dollar bins at Target), holiday headbands, tiaras and other fun dress-up stuff.  So back to St. Patty's Day and to stop the rambling of this post where appears to be going no where :-)  Here are some adorable pictures from last year and today (sorry they are from phone).
