I've heard it over and over again, "don't spend to much on clothes because they grow out of them so quickly." Well, I can tell you that my girls have not followed that advice. We have a pair of 3 month pants, yes that is right my almost 18 month old girls are still wearing 3 month pants. I really think that they are mislabeled :-)
See, I'm not a crafty mom and even though I have grand thoughts, I will not be making any of their clothes. I am however a thrifty mama. This past fall when I was boxing up some of the girls spring/summer clothes, I could not bring myself to box up their spring/summer dresses. I am so glad that I had the forethought, because they are making the most adorable tops this spring. So my advice to all moms out there, dresses can have a 2nd life in your little one's closet :-)

ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I have done that a few times. Thankfully, I get a lot of clothes from the triplets, so I already get a free load!
