Pottery Play Date

So today Toni and I decided to take you ladies to Firefly Pottery for a playdate.  We had not been there, but thought it sounded like fun.

It was a fun afternoon.  We will have to do it again soon.

Big Girl Seats and Playground Fun

I had said that I wanted to keep you ladies rear-facing as long as possible.  I had done research and it is safer for you.  Since you both were on the smaller side we just kept you there without a second thought.  My goal was at least 2.5 years.  I decided that since you are almost 3 (in about a month...where has the time gone) that it was as good a time than any.  While you were napping we moved your seats around.

You were so excited when you woke up and we went to the car, you really were not sure what was going on. 

You ladies were so funny in the car.  It was like you had never ridden in a car before.  You were pointing out everything that you saw and making sure that we also so it.  It was like a whole new world had just been created for your viewing pleasure.

We decided to go to the park at Tom Brown.  It was a beautiful afternoon.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

So this afternoon Peggy came over and we went on an adventure for the afternoon.  We went SHOPPING, well not shopping shopping, but more like window shopping.  We went to Governor's Sqaure Mall and we had a blast.  We walked around for awhile.  The we took a snack break at Starbuck's with milk and cake pops.

We then walked around some more.  We went in and out of a few stores, but the Coach store really grabbed your attention and that of the sales guy.

All that shopping made us all very hungry.  We had Mexican for dinner and it was super yummy,and we topped the night off with some ice cream from our favorite ice cream shoppe, Lofty Pursuits.  It was such a fun afternoon.

First Day of K3A

Today was your first day of K3A.  Your teachers for this year are Ms.Nariza (Reza) and Ms. Chrystal.  You were so excited to go to the big girl class.  You ladies walked right into school, went right to your class and said "bye bye mommy, have a great day."  It was such a great feeling leaving with you so happy.  Here are some pictures from our mini back to school photo shoot.
